Zusammenschluss von geistigem Eigentum
Der Zusammenschluss der internen F&E-Einheit des Kunden mit dem HDF-Innovationspool kann geistiges Eigentum aus verschiedenen Geschäftsbereichen innerhalb der Kundenorganisation zusammenführen und so die durch interne Politik bedingte Bindung von Rechteinhabern verringern.

Monetarisierung ungenutzter Innovationen
HDF identifiziert ungenutzte Innovationen, wie z. B. Ideen oder Aktivposten, die im Unternehmen des Kunden inaktiv sind und die monetarisiert werden können, indem sie Dritten durch Patente, Technologie-Joint-Ventures und Ausgründungen zur Verfügung gestellt werden.

Erschaffung und Erfassung von Werten
HDF bietet branchenübergreifende Einblicke, Know-how und/oder Entwicklung von vorgefertigten Produkten, die der internen F&E angeboten werden; denn nicht alle klugen Köpfe und besten Technologien sind im eigenen Haus zu finden. HDF baut systematisch Beziehungen zu Universitäten und Forschungszentren auf und sucht in der Außenwelt nach Lösungen für die Herausforderungen der Kunden.
